Family recipes, served in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor since 2017
Serving since 2017

The restaurant took the Miny's name in 2017, when Miny Morales took over the small Mexican kitchen on Washtenaw Avenue where she had been working. She made the recipes her own and started cooking the food she knew best.
That cooking is why the menu reaches well past tacos and burritos β hand-made huaraches, squash blossom quesadillas, tortas and pambazos are all on it β and why the Miny burrito tends to arrive bigger than first-timers expect.
The Ypsilanti dining room was rebuilt around takeout in 2020. Four years after that, and seven years on from the first Miny's, a second takeout-focused counter opened in Ann Arbor's Lower Town at 1141 Broadway.
Her three grown sons β Fernando, Rodolfo and Rudy Gonzalez β all work in the business full-time today, keeping going what she started.
